The Holy Spirit Led Healing Process

Protection Prayers before each session

  • Bind any demonic forces that may interfere with this process in Jesus' name.
  • Cover yourself with the blood of Jesus to seal and protect your mind.
  • Ask for a hedge of angels to protect you during the process.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind directly to Him.

The Process of Holy Spirit Led Healing

Select the issue to be worked on (anger, jealousy, anxiety, addiction, etc.). It can be specific to a person or situation. You can also ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into healing (He knows what you need!) and bring a healing issue to you.
Get into quiet time and ask the Holy Spirit to bring specific situations leading to the issue. This is usually in the form of an image or a vision (movie). You may find the emotions returning with the vision or image. If the emotional response is too intense, ask the Holy Spirit to let you watch in a third person format. If it is still too much then immediately break all emotional attachments to the person or incident in Jesus’ name. This should settle you down enough to continue with the process. Focus on the vision until it becomes clear to you . This may take some practice at first. This process is spiritual and therefore visualization is very important. The Holy Spirit will not present flashing or confusing images nor will He judge or condemn you. The image or vision will remain until the process is complete. Once the Holy Spirit gives you a situation to work on, use the steps listed below. Keep in mind that the process will be slightly different for everyone and you may find yourself customizing it over time. You may be presented with some visions or images that don’t seem to “fit” with the rest but trust the Holy Spirit in what must be dealt with.

Once you have a definite healing situation presented to you, perform the following steps:

  • 1. Forgive the person(s) involved in the incident in Jesus’ name. This may seem difficult at first but try separate the sin from the person. They were most likely under spiritual influences. Include everything that was said or done to hurt you. Be as specific as possible. If it is a situation only (accident, trauma) skip to step 3.
  • 2. Ask God to forgive you for holding unforgiveness towards the person(s) in Jesus' name. Many people do not realize that holding unforgiveness is a sin. Sometimes the person you need to forgive is yourself.
  • 3. Cover the incident with the blood of Jesus. Cut/sever/renounce all spiritual attachments including emotional attachments, spiritual soul ties, generational curses, spoken curses (by yourself as well as the other person), and any self imposed curses related to the incident in Jesus’ name. In the case of an accident or trauma that did not involve other people, sever any emotional attachments to fear, anxiety, etc.
  • 4. Name all negative emotions that you felt during the incident and order them to depart in Jesus name to the pit, never to enter flesh again. Release these by breathing them out. This may be confirmed by a sense of relief or a lifting of heaviness. Picture a door closing on the incident and seal it with the blood of Jesus never to be opened again. You are finished with the incident.
  • 5. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill the newly emptied space with Him! Move on to the next incident and repeat steps 1-5.
